Halloween in the Gardens

FREE EVENT! 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 & 27

Join us for Halloween in the Gardens at Applewood – the final event of the 2019 season! Come dressed in your family friendly Halloween costumes, and look for “tricks” and “treats” throughout the grounds.

• Visit trick-or-treating stations around the estate both days
• Halloween-themed story time at 11:30
• Costume parade both days
• Make-and-Take activity (while supplies last)
• Mini pumpkins and more!

*Sample a Taste of Applewood made with ingredients grown at the estate as you stroll the gardens and enjoy the fall decor.
*Get a last look inside the house for the 2019 season – no reservations needed. Tours are on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Take a guided tour of the fall gardens at 12 p.m. each day.

*This year we will be participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project through the Food Allergy Research and Education organization to make sure we have non-food options available for all participants. More information about the Teal Pumpkin Project is here:

Applewood is the historic Flint estate of automotive pioneer Charles Stewart Mott. Applewood is owned and operated by the Ruth Mott Foundation as a community resource open May through October with events and activities the whole family will enjoy.
