Storytime at Applewood

LOCATION:

The Ruth Mott Foundation invites you to FREE family friendly Storytime at Applewood! Online registration is strongly encouraged as supplies are limited. RSVP: tinyurl.com/applewoodstorytime

This week we will read “Lola Plants a Garden” by Anna McQuinn. How does your garden grow? Book-loving Lola is inspired by a collection of garden poems that she reads with her mommy. She wants to plant her own garden of beautiful flowers, so she and Mommy go to the library to check out books about gardening. They choose their flowers and buy their seeds. They dig and plant. And then they wait.

After Storytime, guests will enjoy creating their own flower book using stickers, tissue paper, and images of plants to make garden collages.

Storytime at Applewood takes place every Friday at 11:30 a.m.
*Every event will be interpreted by an ASL professional.
*Please bring your own chairs and blankets if you can.
