Storytime at Applewood

LOCATION:

The Ruth Mott Foundation invites you to FREE family friendly Storytime at Applewood! Online registration is strongly encouraged as supplies are limited. RSVP: tinyurl.com/applewoodstorytime

This week we will read “Flowers are Calling” by Rita Gray and Kenard Pak. Flowers are calling to all the animals of the forest, “Drink me!”—but it’s the pollinators who feast on their nectar.
In rhyming poetic form and with luminous artwork, this book shows us the marvel of natural cooperation between plants, animals, and insects as they each play their part in the forest’s cycle of life.

After Storytime, guests will enjoy learning about botany by dissecting flowers and learning about the different parts that make up the flower.

Storytime at Applewood takes place every Friday at 11:30 a.m.
*Every event will be interpreted by an ASL professional.
*Please bring your own chairs and blankets if you can.
