Storytime at Applewood

LOCATION:

The Ruth Mott Foundation invites you to FREE family friendly Storytime at Applewood! Online registration is strongly encouraged as supplies are limited. RSVP: tinyurl.com/applewoodstorytime.

This week we will read “Cars Galore” by Peter Stein. Ready to hit the road? Gear up for a nonstop parade of shapes, sizes, sounds, and even smells in a wild array of cars packed with big personalities, awesome features, and eccentric passengers. Driven by Peter Stein’s bouncing verse, Bob Staake’s artwork merges vibrant color and crisp, dynamic design with humor, warmth, and whimsy. This rousing excursion is sure to thrill all kids who love things that go, as well as fans of the illustrator’s signature style.

After Storytime, get ready for a road course activity. You will experience what is like to have to obey road signs and other rules of the road. This will test your listening skills as you must follow instructions in order to not disobey any of the rules. There will also be a Taste of Applewood for everyone to enjoy!

Storytime at Applewood takes place every Friday at 11:30 a.m.
*Every event will be interpreted by an ASL professional.
*Please bring your own chairs and blankets if you can.
