Storytime at Applewood

The Ruth Mott Foundation invites you to FREE family friendly Storytime at Applewood! Online registration is strongly encouraged as supplies are limited. RSVP:
This week we will read “Apples and Pumpkins” by Anne Rockwell.
It is Fall! And for one little girl, that means the special joys of visiting the Comstock Farm: choosing the reddest apples from the trees and finding the best pumpkin in the patch.
Back home, she helps her mother carve a funny jack-o’-lantern face and puts a glowing candle inside her prize new pumpkin…just in time for Halloween and an evening of lots of “trick or treats”!
After story time we will work together to sort fall produce by color. Learn about the foods that grew at Applewood in the past and are grown here today.
There will also be a Taste of Applewood for everyone to enjoy! Enjoy a tasty apple-cider donut, made with apples from our orchard.
Storytime at Applewood takes place every Friday at 11:30 a.m.
*Every event will be interpreted by an ASL professional.
