I have a house tour reservation. Should I arrive early?

Is water available?
Yes, water coolers are available to refill water bottles. Please reuse, recycle, and reduce litter!
Do I need a reservation to tour the house or gardens?
On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during our open season, reservations are required for House Tours. Since tour group sizes are limited, we cannot guarantee that walk-ins will be able to join a House Tour. Make your House Tour reservation here. Or take a Virtual Tour of the house.
On Sundays from 1–4 p.m. and during special programs, self-guided tours of the main house are available on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations. For a complete listing of our special programs, please check our calendar here.
During our regular open days, guided Walking Garden Tours are available at 12:30 p.m., no reservations needed. Visitors can also stroll the grounds on their own whenever Applewood is open.
