Discover the magic of Flint & Genesee: Be a Tourist in Your Hometown is back on May 10. Organized by Explore Flint & Genesee, this one-day extravaganza on May 10, 2025, invites you to explore the treasures of your own backyard – this year for free! Applewood is one of the participating attractions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration is available the day of at Brush Park in downtown Flint or at the Sloan Museum of Discovery.

The Be a Tourist passport and wristband grant participants access to over 20 attractions. Complimentary transportation is provided by Mass Transportation Authority (MTA).
