Drop in anytime 1–4 p.m. and learn more about historic preservation. Caring for historic structures can build a sense of connection between the past and the present in communities. Learn how we preserve the buildings at Applewood, and how those techniques can be used to care for other structures that matter to your neighborhood.
The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. From preserving our history to volunteering in community, we’ll demonstrate ways that anyone can engage in civic life. This year’s topics are focused on historic preservation and getting involved in the community where you live.
Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the third Friday of each month May through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
