Event Details

UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE APPLEWOOD IS CLOSED FRIDAY, JUNE 21, FOR SAFETY WHILE A FALLEN TREE IS CLEARED. THIS EVENT IS CANCELED.

Drop in anytime from 1-4 p.m. to get the scoop on local summer camps and other youth programs taking place in and around Flint. Find out how to participate in, or support, the many out-of-school activities in the community.

The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. From preserving our history to volunteering in community, we’ll demonstrate ways that anyone can engage in civic life. This year’s topics are focused on historic preservation and getting involved in the community where you live.

Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of the month through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
