Civic Matters: Climate Change and the Environment

Event Details

Drop in anytime from 1-4 p.m. as we explore how human interactions with the natural environment can impact the quality of life in neighborhoods. Participants will also learn about environmental issues affecting Flint residents and their efforts to respond and create a positive relationship with the environment.

The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. From preserving our history to volunteering in community, we’ll demonstrate ways that anyone can engage in civic life. This year’s topics are focused on historic preservation and getting involved in the community where you live.

Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of the month through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
