Civic Matters: Family History

Event Details

Our family stories are the building blocks of local, state, and national history. See how the Motts collected and preserved pieces of their family history, like the George Washington silver set, as a way of connecting the past and present.  Drop in anytime from 1–4 p.m.

**As part of the countywide America 250 celebration, you can pickup your Genesee County passbook at Applewood and get a stamp for attending Civic Matters.**

The enduring legacy of Charles Stewart and Ruth Mott is their extraordinary commitment to civic participation. With a new program topic each month, Civic Matters explores ways that anyone can engage in civic life.

Drop in to Civic Matters anytime from 1–4 p.m. on the third Friday of each month May through October. Admission and activities at Applewood are always free!
