In the Gardens is a drop-in program held every Thursday from 12–2 p.m.
Applewood is known for its sprawling grounds, stately trees, namesake orchard, and ever-changing colorful gardens. Visit with horticulture staff on the job, ask them questions, and learn a new skill. A gate greeter will point you in the right direction upon arrival.
Drop in at anytime during the program and stay for as long or as little as you like! Sessions are seasonally appropriate and subject to change based on conditions.
Sample topics include pruning, rose care, or vegetable gardening.
