12 p.m. | Second Saturday of every month
Bring a sack lunch and join us at Applewood as we spark conversation about topics related to civic engagement and community. The enduring legacy of C.S. and Ruth Mott was their extraordinary commitment to civic participation, and through this series we will explore how community members can be informed about and involved in various issues.
2024 Topics
- July 13: Voting Rights and Responsibilities
- Aug. 10: Sorting Fact from Fiction
- Sept. 14: Canvassing and Political Activism
- Oct. 12: Voter Resources
We welcome multiple viewpoints and the goal is not to advocate for one particular outcome or another, but to spark dialogue about the process of making decisions that impact a community.
Ruth Mott Foundation staff and community partners will share their expertise. Sessions last approximately one hour.
