Storytime at Applewood
Event Details
The Ruth Mott Foundation invites you to Storytime at Applewood! We will read “Up in the Garden and Down in the Dirt” by author Kate Messner. Up in the garden, the world is full of green—leaves and sprouts, growing vegetables, ripening fruit. But down in the dirt there is a busy world of earthworms digging, snakes hunting, skunks burrowing, and all the other animals that make a garden their home.
You can drop in between 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. to visit our Storytime stations. There will also be a related activity.
- For safety, masks are strongly recommended for everyone age 2 and older.
- Physical distancing is required.
- Storytime is outdoors. Please dress for the weather and bring your sunscreen, bug spray, and chairs or blankets to sit on if you prefer.
American Sign Language interpretation will be provided.
