Flintside On The Ground: 2025-2026
Issue Media Group
Support to the Genesee Chamber Foundation as fiscal sponsor for Issue Media Group’s Flintside: On the Ground 2025 program. The On the Ground project will develop new content covering entrepreneurship, youth voice, and blight remediation spanning a two-year timeframe. The program uses trained journalists to work in partnership with residents to develop weekly news coverage. Flintside will highlight events and the work of local individuals, businesses, and nonprofits while providing training, equipment, and paid freelance opportunities for alumni of the fellowship program to write their own stories.
