Project support to Fair Food Network for the Innovating Technology and Expanding Geographies for Double Up Healthy Food Incentives project, which provides low-income, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients with incentives to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at participating grocery stores, farmers' markets, and vegetable stands in Michigan. This grant will support strategic marketing, point of sale technology and education enhancements to increase SNAP enrollment, increase the use of incentives to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products that reduce the absorption of lead, and provide reliable nutrition information to families in Flint.
