Innovating Technology and Expanding Geographies for Double Up Healthy Food Incentives
Fair Food Network
Project support to the Fair Food Network for Double Up Food Bucks, which provides low-income, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients with incentives to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers' markets and vegetable stands in Michigan. This grant will support a variety of program enhancements designed to expand resident participation among Flint residents and encourage increased consumption of healthy foods such a fruits, vegetables and dairy products that reduce lead absorption in children and adults.
