Sphinx Organization
Project support to the Sphinx Organization for the Sphinx Overture: Music Education and Youth Development Program. Sphinx provides out-of-school-time small group and private music lessons to north Flint youth at four sites in north Flint (Brownell/Holmes STEM Academy, Doyle-Ryder Elementary, Potter Elementary, and Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village). Through a partnership with The Flint Institute of Music, Sphinx also offers full scholarships for north Flint Sphinx students to participate in music programs (private lessons, group lessons and summer camps) at The Flint Institute of Music.
