About Applewood
An Enduring Legacy of Civic Participation
Recognizing the value of Charles Stewart Mott’s contributions to Flint and beyond, Ruth Mott ensured Applewood would be preserved and opened to the public in honor of her late husband’s remarkable legacy.
The Bird of Paradise blooms in the historic exhibition greenhouse. It was one of C.S. Mott's favorite flowers.
